Feel like in Asia / Czuć się jak w Azji #10 - Teriyaki sushi (POZ)
The other day I met a Korean guy, and then I asked him about Korean food in Poznań, so here we are!
Let's take a look at the design and decorations... bamboo!
Menu for people who are waiting in line...
This is something rare in Poland but often seen in Asia - simulated food model...in order for customers to see how the dishes look like...and, make them hungry? XD
Design is quite nice in my opinion...
And they have certificate too...top 100 Polska!
Their sushi bar...
Their menus are with nice vivid pictures and also there are many choices...unfortunately price is not that beautiful...
First, side dishes, four different kinds: salad, kimchi, marinated sprouts and potato.
For me kimchi was super hot...
I asked my Korean friend to order something very Korean...so he orderd Korean stew beef...
And...was super hot too...( i have very low tolerance, I know I'm wierd Asian! XD )
The other friend ordered salmon tatar...looks nice!
Teriyaki sushi - it's like a Japanese and Korean mixed restaurant, if you want to try something different you can always drop by!

Niu rou mian czyli zupa z wołowiny z makaronem.
Jeżeli spróbowałeś "Pho Bo" z Wietnamu to koniecznie musisz spróbować "niu rou mian" z Tajwanu!
http://nakontynent.blogspot.com/2015/11/tajwanski-niu-rou-mian-noodle-z-woowina.html
http://azjainwazja.blogspot.com/2014/11/tajwanska-zupa-pomidorowa-z-woowina-niu.html
Dzisiaj chciałbym krótko zaprezentować inny sposób aby przyrządzać niu rou mian w domu przez "lu"
http://azjainwazja.blogspot.com/2015/07/chinskitajwanski-sos-do-duszenia-luzhi-1.html
W porzadnej restauracji znajdziesz różne sposoby np. ugotowanie zupy z kości wołowej i warzyw, smażenie mięsa wołowego osobno, ugotowanie z rozmaitymi przyprawami a dopiero potem zmieszanie mięsa z zupą.
A tutaj chcę tylko pokazać Polakom łatwy domowy sposób ponieważ myślę, że będzie coraz będzie więcej restauracji azjatyckich w Polsce, a wtedy możecie spróbować prawdziwego niu rou mian! :)
2. Gotuj mięso wołowe 1.5~4 godziny. (zależy od tego, jaka części)
3. Następnie ugotuj warzywa w samym garnku.
4. Gdy wszystko jest gotowe rozcieńcz zupę a dodaj sól.
5. Ugotuj makaron osobno.
6. Przełoż makaron i składniki do miski, nalej zupę, posyp szczypiorkiem. Smacznego!
Feel like in Asia / Czuć się jak w Azji #9 - Parnik (WAW)
After I went to Para bar in Poznań, I heard that the main steamed dumpling place is in Warsaw. So I met a friend here for a early lunch.
The owner is a Chinese and he has three shops in Warsaw, and they have more choices.
We first ordered a side dish made from seaweed...
And then each of us ordered a portion of steamed dumplings...
And they also have this one! Actually the name is called "crystal dumpling" in Chinese. Maybe I'll write how to make it in my blog because it's very easy actually.
All the dumplings/pierogi are freshly made in the place...
I was talking to the ladies there, the Vietnamese lady speaks Polish and is in charge of the cashier, and two Chinese ladies were making fresh dumplings, and they are from north-east of China, that means they are specialist of dumplings...and not only!
Kind of excited for me to go to a place where I can eat Asian food and communicate in the same language. The dumplings are good, go and try!

Duszony boczek "Dong-Po" rou
500g boczku
sznurek ( do obwiązywania mięsa)
15g imbiru
10g szczypioru
2 gwiazdki anyżu
( Można dodać chili )
100ml sosu sojowego
2 łyżki keczupu
1 łyżeczka pieprzu białego
150ml coli
2 łyżki wódki / 50ml wina ryżowego
600ml wody
Etapy:
1. Pokrój boczek w duże sześciany, a potem pogotuj przez chwilę w gorącej wodzie (chuan tang).
2. Następnie wrzuć boczek do zimnej wody.
3. Obwiąż kawałki sznurkiem.
4. Na patelni podsmaż na oleju imbir, szczypior, i anyż.
5. Dodaj resztę składników, na samym końcu wszystko zalewając wodą.
6. Wrzuć wszystko do garnka i duś przez 1,5~2,5 godziny. Można też dodać warzywa, np. marchewkę, ale należy liczyć czas żeby nie gotować zbyt długo.
7. Podawaj z ryżem, sosem oraz dodatkami.
* Przy następnym posiłku możesz wykorzystać pozostały sos (nazywany Luzhi) do przygotowania np. kurczaka z warzywami. Smacznego!
Feel like in Asia / Czuć się jak w Azji #7 - Thanh ha
This is probably my first time in Vietnamese bar in Poznań. A friend invited me for a dinner so I took my camera. Thanh ha is quite big than I thought, and is also one of the oldest Vietnamese bar in Poznań? Just wondering, if there are so many Vietnamese in Poland, where are they???
Mixed with Chinese decorations...
The bar is quite clean and in the evening still were some customers...
Menu
Some Vietnamese tea. ( actually they produce also a lot of tea...)
First time so I ordered one of the most traditional dishes - Pho (beef noodle soup)
Sliced beef...
My friend orderd stir-fried bean noodle with beef...
Closer look, was too spicy for me because I don't really eat spicy food...( worse than Polish people even )
Thanh ha is hidden in Jeżyce area on street szamarzewskiego, if you want to try some Vietnamese food come and try!
