Takoyaki (EN)
Takoyaki is one of my favourite street food. In blog „Japończyk gotuje” (link) you can find recipe in Polish. If you can read Polish there are some more fantastic recipes but if you can't read I belive there are a lot of recipes on internet in different languages. One of the problems is if you would like to prepare this dish you will need a special equipment, whether a pan with small round holes in it or electric one.
With my friends we are promoting Asian culinary culture and we hope that there will be more and more delicious food in Poland and also more Polish people who will be interested in trying oriental tastes.
Where to eat takoyaki?
1. Yetztu (link) is a Japanese restaurant in Poznań, serving mostly ramen (link, I will also write about it in not far future) and also you can find different snack and side dishes there for example: takoyaki (3 different choices)
2. Once in targi śniadaniowe (link) in Warsaw I ate takoyaki from Yako Tako (link).
It tasted prettu good and also looks like street food in Asia, I hope that they still exist.
3. Takoyaki bar in Kraków - Kyoto Takoyaki (link - at the moment closed). They had different tastes, but somehow didn't taste that right...maybe one day they will improve and reopen?
There aren't many places still in Poland where you can taste takoyaki and unfortunately price is high. If I would find out more information I will update in this post.
Takoyaki - Kuleczki z ośmiornicy
Takoyaki to jedne z moich ulubionych potraw street food. Na blogu „Japończyk gotuje” (link) znajdziecie dokładny opis tej pyszności oraz jak przyrządzić ją w domu. Mam specjalne urządzenie do robienia takoyaki, podzielę się z wami nie tylko przepisem, ale także tym gdzie można je zjeść w Polsce.
Razem z kolegą promujemy azjatycką kulturę kulinarną i mamy nadzieję, że będzie coraz więcej takich smakołyków oraz ludzi chętnych do próbowania orientalnych smaków.
Gdzie można zjeść takoyaki?
1. Yetztu (link) to japońska restauracja w Poznaniu, specjalizująca się przede wszystkim w ramen (będę pisać w Ramen in Poland), a także znajdziecie tam inne przekąski np. takoyaki (3 rodzaje).
2. Kiedyś na targu śniadaniowy (link) w Warszawie zjadłem takoyaki z Yako Tako (link).
Smakuje całkiem nieźle i wygląda tak jak street food w Azji, mam nadzieję, że jeszcze istnieje.
3. Takoyaki bar w Krakowie - Kyoto Takoyaki (link - obecnie zamknięte). Mieli różne smaki, ale smakowało jakoś nie tak...może kiedyś znowu otworzą działalność i się poprawi?
Nie ma dużo miejsc w Polsce, w których można zjeść takoyaki i niestety ceny są wysokie. Jak odkryję ich więcej to zamieszczę informacje o nich w tym poście. Można zrobić domowe takoyaki, ale do tego trzeba mieć albo specjalną maszynę albo patelnię, chociaż wydaje mi się, że forma którą używa się do "okonomiyaki" jest również odpowiednia. Spróbuję sam zrobić kilka razy a potem podzielę się przepisem!

Chicken udon soup...
Not sure if it's authentic Mongolian food but the cooks look like from Mongolia..I heared that sometimes they have concerts and events so come visit!

Ramen day (Uki Uki)
One of my favourite Japanese dishes - Ramen, if you haven't had chance to read about it you can check my earlier posts: link EN, link PL. Except in some restaurants, you can also taste ramen from time to time in Japanese udon restaurant in Warsaw Uki Uki (link). The event is hold irregularly in a certain period of a day and it's called Uki Uki Ramen day on fb: https://web.facebook.com/events/269569913434020/
First you get a small card with a number and you need to wait until the places are free.
Usually the restaurant is very busy and normally you have to wait in a queue.
Waiting is worth for it, when I was there they served only basic tonkotsu (pork based) ramen, in Poland you don't eat very often this quality ramen. If you are interested or just curious how it tastes, go for a try!
